Sauna Kits
Sauna Kits Vs Pre-Built Saunas
With sauna kits you may need a little more handyman skills than with pre-built saunas.
However, compared to building your own sauna from scratch, a sauna kit can save a great deal on the labor.

In the sauna kit, all of the wood and other materials have been precut. It is just a matter of reading the
instructions and fitting all of the pieces together just like a jigsaw puzzle.
One advantage that a sauna kit has over a prebuilt sauna is that the sauna kit can be installed in a
pre-existing space such as a small room or a large closet. A prebuilt sauna is usually too large to maneuver into a
small space. Consequently, they are used more as freestanding saunas.
You can find sauna kits in almost any shape and size imaginable. You can even have them custom-made.
Sauna Kits
In most sauna kits, you will need to have the framework in place along with the necessary wiring for the sauna.
An electrician may need to be called in to provide wiring for the sauna heater.
Once all of this has been done, then all you will need to do is attach your new sauna kit to the pre-built
framework. After that just hook up the power supply and heater. This work could take you about a day depending upon
the sauna's size and the amount of time you want to work on the project.
A pre-built, or modular, sauna is very easy to set up. This type of sauna consists of two or three sections
which are attached together. These are freestanding units and can be put anywhere. The wiring and lighting are
installed already, and some companies may even supply the heater and other accessories that are needed for your
sauna.
When you buy a pre-built sauna, make sure that you can fit the individual pieces through the doorways in your
home. Most companies that sell pre-built saunas will specify the minimum size of doorway that the pieces have to
fit through.
A big advantage that a pre-built sauna has is its portability. You are not going to want to take it with you on
a weekend jaunt, but if you ever plan to sell you house you will be able to take your sauna kits with you.
However, if you have a permanently installed sauna, it may add to the resale value of your home when it is time
to sell it. The extra money that you receive from your home may be enough to purchase new sauna kits to install in
your new house.
